Volvo 740/ 940 Double din bracket

Bolt on fitment. Made with inspiration from the original 780 doubledin frame, but with better mountings and with better fitment. Player will be sitting more flush than standard 780 frame.

Standard 12V outlet fits.

Comes in two types at your choice:
With Storageroom
or
With 2 switchplaces for original switches and lights. PS: LED bulbs recomended due to heat.

The highest relay in the front row needs to be moved just like with the original 780 frame. The player will most likely crash.

Internal measures of the double din:
180x110mm. If your metall mounting fram is outside those measures:
You need universal mounting frame. Will be possible to buy along with the bracket or bought separate on ebay. Link will be supplied.

I do not think this is the most desiered equipment, but i use it on my 242 with 960 Dashboard to have switches for Launch controll and Winter\ Summermode (aka Low boost and High Boost mode on a switch)

Will delete the background light. Bulbs need to be taken out or they shine through slightly.

I am working on a type of illumination you need to drill and fit on the upper part of the gauge panel if you need light on the gauge faces. Inspired from S60R. Works with both 940 and 960. also face on tachometer for Turbo models with Turbogauge built in.
after fitting the gaugefaces you need to drive the car to put the speedoneedle on correct position. Also the temp and fuel gauge need to be put to correct place. Fuel i recomend fueling the gastank fully up before installing it to make the needle show full tank imediately to get it in correct position. The tempgauge i would run the car to known normal running temperature and then put the needle on the gauge at the midle. Tachometer also at known idle speed.
